Late Policy Clients that are more than 10 minutes late to their appointment may be asked to reschedule. If you are asked to reschedule then you may be given the opportunity to wait or come at a later time that day. If that isn't an option then a different time/day will be scheduled.
If you are more than 10 minutes late to yourrescheduled appointment (an appointment that is 30 minutes long or less) then you will forfeit your deposit/payment and will be required to submit a new deposit/payment to request a new appointment. In other words, you are allowed only one courtesy reschedule without penalty. For clients with an appointment over 30 minutes long: If you are asked to wait or come back by later that day because you were late to your appointment, but you are unable to, then you will forfeit your deposit/payment and be required to submit full payment for all future appointments. If there is no other time available for you to come back later that day then you will be given the option to choose which services you would like to still have done at that time, with whatever time is left, but still be required to make full payment. If you choose to reschedule your appointment without receiving any services that day, you will forfeit any deposit/payment you already made and will be required to make payment in full for all future appointments. Cancellation Policy Mikiela's Wax Studio requires at least a 24-hour notice for all cancellations, this includes rescheduling your appointment. Failure to show up (no-show), cancel or reschedule your appointment within a timely manner (late cancellation) or arrive on time (late arrival); may result in forfeiture of payment. Clients who arrive to their appointment more than 10 minutes late may be asked to reschedule. This studio reserves the right to forfeit a deposit/payment for all no-shows, late cancellations and late arrivals.
Mikiela's Wax Studio requires payment in full to book an appointment. If no payment/deposit is collected or a partial payment is accepted, for an appointment request, then it will be at Mikiela's discretion. Please keep in mind that if you are extended this courtesy but are later marked as a no-show or late cancellation then you will be required to pay for all future requests at the time of booking.
The 24-hour cancellation policy does NOT apply to rescheduled appointments. If you cancel your rescheduled appointment (an appointment made due to you arriving late to your last appointment or canceling less than 24 hours in advance) then you forfeit your deposit. You may reschedule the appointment as long as a 24-hour notice is given but if you cancel then you forfeit your deposit.
For New Clients Wishing to Pay with Cash New clients who wish to pay for their appointment with cash: You will be asked to show your driver's license (or military ID) to the owner prior to services being rendered. This is a one-time occurrence. If you decline to do so then your payment will be forfeited, unless you opt to reschedule, pay a $45 cancellation fee and submit payment for the rescheduled appointment through Cash App. Your cash refund (minus the cancellation fee) will then be issued to you at your rescheduled appointment since cash is not kept at either location.
Refund Policy: Refunds (not including gift cards) will be issued when requested by client if it does not conflict with the cancellation policy above. Due to the processing company used to process transactions, it can take up to 7 business days before a refund is issued. The only exception to this waiting period is if a Cash App refund request is made the same day that the payment was submitted (before 10pm EST) or if cash was given as payment for services. There is a refund processing fee associated with all Cash App transactions.
